What We Believe

Destiny Now Daycare & Preschool is a ministry of Destiny Now World Outreach & Mount Carmel Church. The ministry and Daycare are both deeply committed to the time-less truth of Jesus Christ and to “Helping People Discover their Destiny and Develop their Discovery.” We believe that as we let God love us and love others through us we can make our world a better place.

Our daycare & preschool mission: To provide high quality, Christ centered, academically appropriate programs in a fun, loving and nurturing environment which not only leads a child to a personal relationship with Christ, but equips him/her to serve Him successfully in everyday life.

Statement of Biblical Beliefs
Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ as God incarnate, Lord, Savior, and coming King. We believe in the one true God, made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
 
Humanity
God created humans in His own image. But rather than loving and obeying God, human sin has resulted in eternal separation from God and causes many problems in life.
 
Scripture
We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired by God, completely accurate, our authority regarding Christian beliefs, and the guide of Christian living.
 
New Life
Upon acceptance of Christ through faith Christians are to live Christ-like lives, witness, serve and give. Ephesians 2:10 says, “We are not saved by, but unto, good works.”

Spirit and Spiritual Gifts
We rely on the Holy Spirit and believe in spiritual gifts.

Worship
Worship, both private and public, is an essential, transforming ingredient in the Christian life. We put God first in our lives by making Sunday worship a priority.
 
Immersion and Communion
We follow the Bible in faith and practice. We practice believer baptism by immersion and we celebrate the Lord’s Supper regularly.
 
Authority of the Local Church
In the Bible, Christ describes the church as the body of Christ and therefore, His representative in this world. We believe church leaders are called by God to lead the body of Christ and develop leaders and members for maximum growth.
